  •          Establishment of a “District Report Card” - Rather than simply asking DOT to tell the committee what it accomplished, require the same metrics for all 10 DOH districts. For example: safety, pavement condition, lane-miles paved, potholes repaired, ditching performed, culverts replaced, bridges repaired, vacancies, overtime, maintenance expenditures per lane-mile, complaints received/closed, and projects late/on-time.
  •          A “Top 25 Projects” dashboard. Have DOT identify the state's 25 largest active projects and give the commission a one-page table every interim: Project | Original Cost | Current Cost | % Complete | Original Completion | Current Completion | Change Orders | Principal Risk We would do this so we A) establish that expectation, and B) provide the committee an ability to track performance from meeting to meeting rather than receiving isolated snapshots.
