Office of the Senate President

Jeffrey Kessler

Welcome from Senate President Jeffrey V. Kessler

Welcome, and thank you for taking time to visit the West Virginia Legislature’s webpage.

I was elected Senate President November 14, 2011 following a one year term as West Virginia’s first and only Acting Senate President. As Senate President, I vow to remain committed to the goal of advancing West Virginia to new heights. West Virginia is poised for what I believe to be a break out decade. With the state’s energy resources, financial stability and other opportunities, we can guarantee not only the future of this generation, but also generations to come.

I am always happy to hear from constituents, or from anyone with questions or comments about what is going on in West Virginia State Government. I encourage all of you, regardless of party or affiliation, to contact me with any concerns you have regarding issues facing your district or our State. You can write to or email me at the addresses provided on this page.
