The Research Analyst works under the supervision of a Research Manager. The Research Analyst is responsible for carrying out all the tasks associated with conducting a performance audit which include: 1) gathering, reviewing, analyzing and confirming relevant information; 2) writing reports, organizing and maintaining audit work papers; and 3) orally presenting the findings of audit reports to legislative committees.
Individual must possess good research and writing skills. A bachelor's or master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration or Political Science is required.
