A BILL to amend and reenact §30-5-29 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to updating the sunset date of collaborative pharmacy practice agreements.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §30-5-29 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
§30-5-29. Collaborative pharmacy practice continuation.
Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code, pharmacy collaborative agreements in community settings shall continue to exist until the first day of July, two thousand eight ten, unless sooner terminated, continued or reestablished pursuant to that article.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to update the sunset date to establish collaborative practice agreements between pharmacists and physicians or osteopaths.
