A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18A-2-14, relating to requiring local school boards to reimburse school personnel for mileage expended for the use of their own vehicle in the course of their employment at a minimum rate at least the same as the state mileage reimbursement rate.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §18A-2-14, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 2. SCHOOL PERSONNEL.

§18A-2-14. Mileage reimbursement rate for school personnel.

School personnel when required to use a personal motor vehicle in the course of their employment shall be reimbursed for that use at a minimum rate that is at least the same as state employees are reimbursed for mileage costs when using a personal
motor vehicle in the course of their employment.
