A BILL to extend the time for the county commission of Tyler
County, West Virginia, to meet as a levying body for the
purpose of presenting to the voters of the county an election
on the question of authorizing the excess levy for vital
public services in Tyler County from between the seventh and
twenty-eighth days of March until the second Monday of April,
two thousand five.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
TYLER COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING AS LEVYING BODY EXTENDED.
§1. Extending time for the Tyler County Commission to meet as a
levying body for an election authorizing an excess levy for
vital public service.
Notwithstanding the provision of article eight, chapter eleven
of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, the county
commission of Tyler County, West Virginia, is hereby authorized to
extend the time for its meeting as a levying body, setting the levy rate and certifying its actions to the state Tax Commissioner from
between the seventh and twenty-eighth day of March until the second
Monday in April, two thousand five, for the purpose of submitting
to the voters of Tyler County the question of authorizing an excess
levy for vital public service.

(NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to extend the time for the
Tyler County Commission to submit a proposed excess levy to the
Tyler County voters approval or rejection intended to finance vital
public services.)
