A BILL to amend and reenact §20-1A-9 of the code of West Virginia,
1931, as amended, relating to continuation of
the
Public Land
Corporation.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §20-1A-9 of the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended,
be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 1A. REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT AND PROCEDURES.
§20-1A-9. Continuing the Continuation of the Public Land
Corporation.
Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of
this code, the The Public Land Corporation shall continue to exist,
pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this
code, until the first day of July, two thousand five nine, unless
sooner terminated, continued or reestablished by act of the
Legislature pursuant to the provisions of that article.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue
the
Public
Land Corporation
until July 1, 2009, pursuant to the West Virginia
Sunset Law.
