"Today is a day to celebrate in Lincoln County as you mark your 148th Birthday. Happy Birthday, Lincoln County!
Lincoln County was created on February 23, 1867 by an act of West Virginia’s 5th Legislature. As a member of the 82nd Legislature, I am honored to serve the great people of Lincoln County. During the past couple of years, I have gotten to know many Lincoln County residents and have been accepted like family.
During this legislative session, I have worked to successfully add a representative from Lincoln County to the National Coal Heritage Authority and am currently working with House Leadership to explore funding opportunities for lighting the Lincoln County High School Panther’s baseball field. I look forward to continuing to work on behalf of Lincoln County throughout the 82nd Legislative Session.
