Charleston, WV - Newly elected Delegate from the 36th District, Andrew Robinson, will be hosting an Educator’s Town Hall at Stonewall Jackson Middle School, 6 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017.
Education reform will be an extensively discussed issue this session with the budget crunch and other various issues. Delegate Robinson is looking to hear the opinions and beliefs of the educators from the 36th District across Kanawha County to better represent them in the Legislature.
"As I have prepared for the upcoming session, a number of issues have been proposed or discussed by other legislators and the Governor,” Delegate Robinson said. “A to F Grading, PEIA funding, standardized testing and other issues are sure to be addressed in coming months. I am interested in hearing the opinions of teachers and administrators from across Kanawha County on these and other pressing issues affecting our school system."
The 83rd Legislative Session will begin Wednesday, February 8th.
