A BILL to amend the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §7-7-5 , relating to providing that the position of prosecuting attorney in Mingo County is a part-time position.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §7-7-5
, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 7. COMPENSATION OF ELECTED COUNTY OFFICIALS.
§7-7-5. Position of prosecuting attorney in Mingo County to be part-time.

Notwithstanding the provisions of section four or section four-a of this article or of any other provision of law to the contrary, the position of prosecuting attorney in Mingo County shall be a part-time position.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to provide that the position of prosecuting attorney in Mingo County is a part-time position.
