HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 30

Requesting that bridge number 03-85/1-0.04 on Route 85 between Madison and Van in Boone County, West Virginia be named the “Brian Lester Browder Memorial Bridge.”

    Whereas, Brian Lester Browder was born on October 16, 1983 to Charley and Reda Browder; and

    Whereas, Brian Lester Browder was driving an all terrain vehicle when he struck a tree at the end of the bridge; and

    Whereas, Brian Lester Browder died on June 10, 1996 as a result of that accident; and

    Whereas, Brian Lester Browder is survived by his parents, Charley and Reda Browder, a brother, Dana Browder and a sister, Heather Browder Dolin; therefore, be it

Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:

    That the Division of Highways is hereby requested to name bridge number 03-85/1-0.04 on Route 85 between Madison and Van in Boone County, West Virginia the “Brian Lester Browder Memorial Bridge”; and, be it

    Further Resolved, That the Commissioner of the Division of Highways is hereby requested to erect signs at both ends of the bridge containing bold and prominent letters proclaiming the bridge the “Brian Lester Browder Memorial Bridge”; and, be it

    Further Resolved, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates, forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Commissioner of the Division of Highways and Brian Lester Browder’s parents, Charley and Reda Browder of Quinland, West Virginia; his brother, Dana Browder of Quinland; and his sister, Heather Browder Dolin of Foster, West Virginia.
