A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §47-6-1a, relating to the fact that the State of West Virginia solely recognizes United States coins and currency as legal tender for all transactions, public and private.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

 

ARTICLE 6. MONEY AND INTEREST

§47-6-1a. Recognizing United States currency as legal tender for transactions.

The State of West Virginia to shall recognize United States coins and currency as legal tender for all transactions, public and private.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is for West Virginia to recognize United States currency and coins as legal tender for all transactions.
