A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §29-6-5a, relating to terminating the Division of Personnel.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 3. PURCHASING DIVISION.

§29-6-5a. Division of personnel terminated.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this code to the contrary, the Division of Personnel within the Department of Administration is terminated beginning July 1, 2024.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to terminate the Division of Personnel.
