A BILL to amend and reenact article 3, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training to promulgate a legislative rule relating to substance abuse screening, standards and procedure.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

    That article 3, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

ARTICLE 3. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.

§64-3-1. Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training.

    The legislative rule filed in the State Register on March 26, 2013, authorized under the authority of section fourteen, article six, chapter twenty-two-a of this code, modified by the Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on December 20, 2013, relating to the Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training (substance abuse screening, standards and procedure, 56 CSR 19), is authorized.

 

    NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training to promulgate a legislative rule relating to substance abuse screening, standards and procedure.
