A BILL to amend and reenact article 6, chapter 64 of the Code of
West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the
State Fire Commission to promulgate a legislative rule
relating to the state building code.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article 6, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931,
as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 6. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY AFFAIRS AND
PUBLIC SAFETY TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-6-1. State Fire Commission.
The legislative rule filed in the State Register on the
eighteenth day of July, two thousand twelve, authorized under the
authority of section five-b, article three, chapter twenty-nine, of
this code, modified by the State Fire Commission to meet the
objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and
refiled in the State Register on the twenty-first day of December,
two thousand twelve, relating to the State Fire Commission (state building code,
87 CSR 4
), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the State Fire
Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the State
Building Code.
