attorneys.
(a) Each Bureau for Child Support Enforcement attorney shall
be appointed by the Commissioner of the Bureau for Child Support
Enforcement. The Bureau for Child Support Enforcement attorneys
shall be duly qualified attorneys licensed to practice in the
courts of this state. Bureau for Child Support Enforcement
attorneys shall be exempted from the appointments in the indigent
cases which would otherwise be required pursuant to article
twenty-one, chapter twenty-nine of this code.
(b) Nothing contained herein shall prohibit the Commissioner from temporarily assigning, from time to time as caseload may dictate, a Bureau for Child Support Enforcement attorney from one geographical area to another geographical area.
(c) The Bureau for Child Support Enforcement attorney is an employee of the Bureau for Child Support Enforcement.
