§48-1-238. Separation defined.
"Separation" or "separation of the parties" means the
uninterrupted separation of a husband and wife for some continuous
period of time during which they do not cohabit or otherwise live
together as husband and wife. When a separation is required as a
predicate for filing an action under this article, the separation
must continue through the date of filing.
