§61-3-26. Interference with or destruction of buoys, signal lights
or other aids to navigation; penalty.
If any person or persons shall wilfully or maliciously
interfere with, injure or destroy any buoy, lamp, lantern, signal
light or other aid to navigation erected or maintained by the
government of this state, or of the United States, in this state,
every person so offending shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and,
upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred
dollars, or by imprisonment in the jail of the county not exceeding
six months, or both, according to the aggravation of the offense,
in the discretion of the court.
