§31C-2-7. Conducting business outside this state.
A credit union incorporated under this chapter may conduct
business outside of this state in other states or territories where
it is permitted to conduct business as a credit union. The
activities and records of such credit union business conducted
outside this state remain fully under the jurisdiction and
supervision of the commissioner. Prior to the establishment of any
branch or service facility outside this state, a credit union shall
provide notice to, and obtain written approval of, the
commissioner. The creation of such facilities must be approved by
a majority vote of the credit union's board of directors.
