§31A-2-13. Enforcement of orders of the commissioner against
financial institutions.
(a) If any financial institution shall fail or refuse to
comply with any order of the commissioner, entered pursuant to the
provisions of paragraphs (A) or (B), subdivision (15), subsection
(c), section four of this article, the commissioner may apply to
any court having jurisdiction for a prohibitory or mandatory
injunction or other appropriate remedy to compel obedience to such
order; or may apply to the board of banking and financial
institutions for appropriate relief.
(b) In addition, if any financial institution other than a
state bank shall fail or refuse to comply with any order of the
commissioner, entered pursuant to the provisions of paragraphs (A)
or (B), subdivision (15), subsection (c), section four of this
article, the commissioner may make and enter an order revoking the
certificate of authority, permit or license of such institution to
engage in the business of a financial institution in this state.
