§16-5D-16. Availability of reports and records.
The secretary shall make available for public inspection and
at a nominal cost provide copies of all inspections and other
reports of assisted living residences filed with or issued by the
secretary. Nothing contained in this section may be construed or
deemed to allow the public disclosure of confidential medical,
social, personal or financial records of any resident. The
secretary shall propose rules for legislative approval in
accordance with the provisions of article three, chapter
twenty-nine-a of this code as may be necessary to give effect to
the provisions of this section and to preserve the confidentiality
of medical, social, personal or financial records of residents.
