Delegate Hamrick moves to amend the bill on page eight, section five-a, line one hundred seventy-four, after the word “rental” by striking out the period and inserting in lieu thereof a colon and the following proviso:  “Provided, however, That nothing in this subdivision may be construed to prohibit a municipality from imposing a hotel occupancy tax as prescribed in §7-18-1 et seq. of this code.”
