The Committee on Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development moved to amend the title of the bill to read as follows:

H. B. 4187 - “A Bill to amend and reenact §61-7-14 of the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to creating the ‘Business Liability Protection Act’; providing definitions; providing for the right to limit possession of firearms on certain premises; establishing misdemeanor criminal offense and penalty; prohibiting certain acts against individuals possessing a firearm under certain circumstances; establishing limitations on duty of care; providing for immunity from liability; providing enforcement authority to the Attorney General for violations of prohibited acts, including injunctive relief, civil fines or both; and providing for civil action to enforce provisions of statute.”
