The Committee on Senior Citizen Issues moves to amend the title of the bill to read as follows:

H. B. 2848 - “A Bill to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new article, designated §11-13EE-1, §11-13EE-2, §11-13EE-3,§11-13EE-4, §11-13EE-5 and §11-13EE-6, all relating to establishing a livable home tax credit applicable to the West Virginia personal income tax and corporate net income tax for modifications to make certain residences more livable for persons with a disability; expressing Legislative intent; definitions; establishing tax credit for livable home modifications to certain residences to be applied against the tax imposed by articles twenty-one and twenty-four, chapter eleven of the said code; application to the director of the Housing Development Fund for the credit; establishing the amount of tax credit allowed; limitations of the aggregate of credits available in a taxable year; providing for promulgation of emergency and legislative rules by the tax commissioner and the director of the West Virginia Housing Development Fund; and establishing the effective date after which the credit may be taken.”
