Delegate Hamrick moves to amend the bill on page 8, section 23, line 117, after the word “code” and the period by inserting a new sentence to read as follows:

“Any person who makes any false affidavit, or knowingly swears or affirms falsely to any matter or thing required by the terms of this section to be sworn to or affirmed, is guilty of perjury and upon conviction shall be punished by fine or imprisonment as other persons committing perjury are punishable.”;

And,

On page 10, section 25, line 30, after the period by inserting a new sentence to read as follows:

“Any person who makes any false affidavit, or knowingly swears or affirms falsely to any matter or thing required by the terms of this section to be sworn to or affirmed, is guilty of perjury and upon conviction shall be punished by fine or imprisonment as other persons committing perjury are punishable.”
