Senators Palumbo and Stollings moved to amend the amendment on page two, section four, after subsection (c), by inserting the following:


(d) Notwithstanding any provision of this code to the contrary, this article does not apply to any federal, state or local antidiscrimination laws or ordinances, whether adopted before or after the effective date of this article. Antidiscrimination laws and ordinances are hereby determined to be both a compelling governmental interest and the least restrictive means of furthering that compelling governmental interest.


(e) Notwithstanding any provision of this code to the contrary, this article does not apply to any federal, state or local child health laws or ordinances concerning child vaccinations, whether adopted before or after the effective date of this article. Child vaccination laws and ordinances are hereby determined to be both a compelling governmental interest and the least restrictive means of furthering that compelling governmental interest.;
