Senate Advances Education Bill To 3rd Reading
The Senate convened today to advance Senate Bill 383, Senate Bill 427, Senate Bill 368, and Senate Bill 159 to third reading. Also advanced to third reading was Senate Bill 359, relating generally to reforming public education.

Bills advanced to second reading were Senate Bill 464, Senate Bill 412, Senate Bill 353, and Senate Bill 108.

Senate Resolutions introduced today include Senate Resolution 35 designating today, March 14, 2013 as Generation West Virginia Day and Senate Resolution 36, recognizing Affiliate Program of High Technology Foundation.

The following committees will meet today:
Health and Human Resources - 1 p.m. - 451M
Education - 2 p.m. - 451M
Judiciary - 3 p.m. - 208W

The Senate will reconvene tomorrow at 11 a.m.
