SIXTY-FOURTH DAY

The House of Delegates met at 5:00 p.m., and was called to order by the Honorable Richard Thompson, Speaker.
Prayer was offered and the House was led in recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
The roll being called (Roll No. 546), and 86 members having answered to their names, the Speaker declared the presence of a quorum.
The Clerk proceeded to read the Journal of Tuesday, March 13, 2007, being the first order of business, when the further reading thereof was dispensed with and the same approved.
Committee Reports

Delegate Doyle, from the Joint Committee on Enrolled Bills, submitted the following report, which was received:

Messages from the Executive

Mr. Speaker, Mr. Thompson, presented a communication from His Excellency, the Governor, advising that on March 13, 2007, he approved H. B. 2908, H. B. 3090, S. B. 96, S. B. 171, S. B. 172, S. B. 186, S. B. 190, S. B. 376 and S. B. 412.
Leaves of Absence

At the request of Delegate DeLong, and by unanimous consent, leaves of absence for the day were granted Delegates Carmichael, Frederick, Hamilton, Hartman, Hutchins, Long, Manchin, Michael, Miley, Shook, Stalnaker, Talbott, Ron Thompson and Varner.
