A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Auditor's Office to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the Procedure for Local Levying Bodies to Apply for Permission to Extend Time to Meet as Levying Body.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


That §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

article 9. Authorization for mIscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Auditor's Office.


The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 26, 2016, authorized under the authority of section nine, article eight, chapter eleven of this code, modified by the Auditor's Office to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on September 21, 2016, relating to the Auditor's Office (Procedure for Local Levying Bodies to Apply for Permission to Extend Time to Meet as Levying Body), 155 CSR 08), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Auditor's Office to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Procedure for Local Levying Bodies to Apply for Permission to Extend Time to Meet as Levying Body.
