A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Athletic Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Regulation of Mixed Martial Arts.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.
§64-9-1. Athletic Commission.
The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 24, 2016, authorized under the authority of section twenty-four, article five-a, chapter twenty-nine of this code, modified by the Athletic Commission to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on December 20, 2016, relating to the Athletic Commission (Regulation of Mixed Martial Arts, 177 CSR 02), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Athletic Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Regulation of Mixed Martial Arts.
