Bill Definitions

Introduced Version = The bill is officially started in the Legislative Process.
Engrossed Version = The bill after it has been read a second time (amendment stage) in its house of origin.
Engrossed Committee Substitute = Committee Substitute after it has been read a second time in its house of origin.
Enrolled Version - Final Version = The final version of the bill that is presented to the Governor.
Enrolled Committee Substitute = The final version of a Committee Substitute that is presented to the Governor.
Introduced Version - Originating in Committee = The bill originated in a committee
Committee Substitute = An amended version of the bill recommended by a committee.

Note: If you see duplicate versions, please refer to the version with the largest number in parenthesis for the most up to date version. (eg. "Enrolled Version - Final Version" and "Enrolled Version - Final Version (2)" then use Enrolled Version - Final Version (2) as the final version)
