§49-7-17. Same -- Not to exceed two years.
A sentence shall not be suspended, or final judgment or
execution stayed, for a period exceeding two years. At the end
of two years from the time of imposition of sentence or sooner in
the discretion of the court or judge, the defendant shall be
finally released and discharged.
