Charleston, WV- Chairman of the West Virginia State Senate Redistricting Task Force, Senator John Unger, (D-Berkeley), announced today the new location of the public informational meeting being held in Upshur County, due to a campus scheduling conflict.
The new meeting location has been set, as follows:
When: Saturday, June 25, 2011 10-11:30 a.m.
Where: West Virginia Wesleyan College 59 College Avenue Buckhannon, WV 26201
*Christopher Hall of Science, Hyma Auditorium (on campus)
"This meeting will allow the public to inform us in person about how they think their districts should be arranged," said Chairman Unger. "We want to provide a forum for the public and local officials to express their concerns and make this process as open and transparent as possible."
