Charleston, WV - West Virginia Senate Majority Leader John Unger, (D-Berkeley), introduced legislation today creating the West Virginia Homeowner Bill of Rights. “Senate Bill 361 seeks to protect homeowners and provide other avenues to avoid foreclosure,” said Senator Unger. “The economic situation in the state is difficult already, and we do not need to add finding a new home on top of finding a new job.” The legislation is intended to allow homeowners to fulfill their dreams of home ownership by keeping loan payments affordable.
