CHARLESTON, WV - Senator Orphy Klempa (D-Ohio) has been chosen as the Mountain State Trauma and Injury Prevention Coalition Senator of the Year for 2011. The award is given to the Senator who the Coalition feels has worked to promote injury prevention and trauma care for the citizens of West Virginia in the legislative arena. “Trauma and injury prevention is essential to fostering a healthy citizenship,” says Klempa. “I am honored to be recognized by the Coalition for my work and will continue my commitment in this area.” The Coalition is comprised of trauma physicians, emergency physicians, trauma nurses, trauma registrars and injury prevention coordinators. |
