CHARLESTON – The Sunday morning meeting of the Legislature’s Joint Select Committee on Marcellus Shale has been cancelled.
“Because some concerns were raised about our Sunday meeting potentially interfering with inaugural activities, we have cancelled it,” House Chairman Tim Manchin said. “To help make up some time, we will start our previously scheduled Monday morning meeting an hour earlier.”
The committee is now scheduled to meet 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in the Senate Judiciary Room. The committee also remains scheduled to meet 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, in the House Judiciary Room.
Links to the legislation under consideration, summaries prepared by a committee attorney, previously adopted amendments and pending amendments are available on the Legislature’s main web page at www.legis.state.wv.us.
There is also a link to the Legislature’s Live Page ( http://www.legis.state.wv.us/live.cfm ), which will stream audio of meetings.
