Timothy Miley

48th District, Harrison County
Democrat
Speaker of the House of Delegates

Tim Miley has been elected to serve the 48th District in the West Virginia House of Delegates continuously from 2004 to the present. He has served as Vice Chairman for the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee, Vice Chairman of the House Committee on the Judiciary, and was named Chairman of that Committee in 2010. On June 18, 2013, Tim was elected as the Speaker of the House of Delegates. When he is not serving in his legislative capacity, he owns and manages The Miley Legal Group in Clarksburg, a small business that employs 10 people.

Delegate Miley was born on April 11, 1966, in Cheverly, Maryland, the son of Robert and Sandra Miley. He earned his B.B.A in Finance from Southern Methodist University and his J.D. from Duquesne University. He currently is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, Harrison County Bar Association, American Association for Justice and the West Virginia Association for Justice.

He currently resides in Bridgeport, West Virginia with his wife, Susan, and stepdaughter, Jordin.
