Committee Hearings
84. On written request of the introducer of a bill or any
interested person or organization, timely made to the chairman or
clerk of a committee, a public hearing shall be held on any measure
on the official agenda of the committee.
The chairman may limit the time of proponents and opponents at
such hearing.
The hearing may be conducted by the entire committee or a
subcommittee thereof, as the committee shall direct.
When a bill is referred to more than one committee, no more
than one hearing shall be required when properly and timely
requested under the provisions of this rule.
