Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The cost of compensating state police officers for "on-call" duty is estimated to cost the general revenue fund approximately $799,353 per fiscal year. This annualized estimate is based upon average "on-call" hours actually reported during the period April through June 2004.
