Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This bill to add West Virginia National Guard members who are
discharged from the military service due to wounds or injuries
received in the line of duty, may continue to receive payments for
tuition and fees as if they were still a member of the West
Virginia National Guard, will not add any additional cost since
payments are contingent upon appropriations being made by the
Legislature for the education program.
An estimate of 20 soldiers may qualify for the program based on
wounds and injuries
