Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
To fulfill the additional responsibilities imposed by HB2735, the Office will be required to hire, equip, and house three additional employees. These new positions would best be filled by an attorney and two analysts. Full staffing of this unit would be accomplished in the first fiscal year, and the cost of the unit would not vary from year to year. Startup costs would be minimal.
