Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to reimburse county boards of education for the employment of school nurses employed to meet the ratio requirement of 1:1,500 students in K-7 net enrollment and those nurses employed in excess of the number required to ensure adequate provision of services to severely handicapped pupils. Of the total 182.11 nurses employed that are to be reimbursed, 114.00 are employed to meet the minimum ratio requirement and the remaining 61.11 are assumed to be employed to meet the needs of severely handicapped pupils.
