The stated purpose of the bill is to eliminate the sunset on Division of Highways public-private partnership agreements.
The Tax Department is currently not involved in the Division of Highways public-private partnership agreements. Division of Highways advertises the projects and then makes equal payments to the vendor/contractor until it is paid in full.
There would be no administrative costs to the Tax Department.
