Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This bill should permit farmers desiring to produce wine the ability and a license to become a farm winery by sharing space and equipment with an existing farm winery. This could result in more licensed farm wineries and potentially more license revenue for the state.
Further the bill permits farm wineries when asked to attend a fair and festival to be present at the fair and festival and provide samples and sell bottles for off-premises consumption. This could increase the number of licensed fairs and festivals and thus generate revenue for the state.
It is difficult to estimate a fiscal impact dollar figure.
