Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.


This bill increase the number of family court judges serving the sixth family court circuit consisting of Cabell County from two judges to three judges and the number of family court judges serving the twenty-third family court circuit consisting Mineral, Hampshire & Morgan counties from one judge to two judges.

Next fiscal year, the costs will be for half year but since it will be the first year, it is half of the 1st year figure to cover the start-up costs associated with a new position. Full implementation in FY18 at $582,294
