Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
A BILL to amend and reenact §9A-1-10 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended; to amend and reenact §19-1-4 of said code, all relating to authorizing the Secretary of the Department of Veterans' Assistance and the Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture to enter into an agreement to transfer certain property for construction of a veterans skilled nursing facility; and making legislative findings.
Since the purpose of this committee substitute only relates to the transfer of all or part of approximately seventeen acres of Department of Agriculture property in Beckley, WV, located adjacent to the Jackie Withrow Hospital which was formerly known as Pinecrest Hospital, to be used for the construction of a veterans skilled nursing facility, and as the funding has been deleted from The Committee Substitute, there would be ZERO costs. Actual construction of the facility would cost as set forth in the original Fiscal Note.
