Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
Senate Bill 560 if enacted would provide for the allocation of matching funds from future moneys deposited into the West Virginia Research Trust Fund. In addition, it would expand the eligible recipients of matching funds to include West Virginia to include West Virginia State University in certain instances. It also provides for the redistribution of moneys. The proposed legislation does not provide for a specific dollar amount to be transfered from the General Revenue Fund into the West Virginia Research Trust Fund.
