Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
Agency anticipates no appreciable fiscal impact to the agency. However, the proposed legislation would increase the costs associated with the installation of entry/exit doors to new and renovated public buildings as defined due to the added costs of automatic hardware and mechanisms. The extent of these additional costs is unknown but it can be assumed it would increase the overall costs to some degree when compared to standard doors and hardware.
