Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
House Bill 4296,if enacted would modify the Health Sciences Scholarship Program to become the Health Sciences Service Program. The modified program would better reflect its purpose as a job recruitment incentive for attracting practicing health care professionals to underserved areas of the state. The modifications to the program do not require any additional state appropriations.
