Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
Due to the lack of historic data or other sources of information the Division of Natural Resources cannot compile a reliable estimate at this time. The Division has no information as to the number of docks or marinas throughout the State and no knowledge of which have electrical service. If a hypothetical assumption of 8.6% of boating associated program costs of $465,134 would be related to dock and marina safety and an annual cost of printing of printing new manuals would be $1,000 the hypothetical estimate would be approximately $41,000.
